Description:  

We are looking for a driven, creative and organised candidate with a real passion for learning and development. The purpose of the Marketing Executive role is to deliver on the company’s business development, digital marketing and brand-building goals. The role will preferably be full time, working for Planet First Limited, creator of The Planet Mark.

Role:

You will be the tactical lead of our digital marketing strategy – doing everything from updating and improving the digital touchpoints including theplanetmark.com, to delivering engaging content marketing campaigns.

This is one of the most diverse roles at Planet First crossing over multiple marketing disciplines. These include search engine optimisation, digital public relations, basic web development, content creation, social media management, email marketing, analytics, data management, event management, research, administration and copywriting.

The role is a mix of remote and Central London working, so the ability to work independently and effectively is of utmost importance. You will be required to work closely with the Planet First team to ensure campaigns, marketing and communications are aligned.

What you can expect from us:

You will learn from the best digital marketers in the industry and be given a lot of autonomy to solve problems (with more structure at the beginning). We will give you the chance to enhance your skills in all areas of digital marketing through training sessions (in-person and online), courses, online research and the opportunity to attend conferences and events throughout the year. You will also be supported by our Head of Communications to develop your communication and project management skills while building your sustainability knowledge.

Skills and experience:

Essential:

  • A passion for sustainability progress
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Flexibility and a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities by working alone or as part of a team effort
  • An organised and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to see projects through from start to finish managing time and tasks effectively
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads and, at times, conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on tasks
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to draft appropriate communications
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • A commitment to achieving digital marketing goals
  • Ability to understand the big picture while working through detail-oriented and day-to-day tasks

Desired:

  • Experience in digital marketing is preferred but not essential. It’s more important that you are boldly curious and enthusiastic, like data sets and numbers and want to be part of a company where you’ll be more than just a cog in the wheel.
  • Photography, copywriting, videography, design (Adobe) and editing skills would be a bonus.

Qualifications:

A relevant degree is preferred, but not essential.

Salary: £22,000

Description:  

We are looking for a sustainability data analyst to assist our growing certification team.  You will be dealing with complex datasets and high volumes of data, as well as checking data against evidence and producing reports using a well-defined, robust process and branded templates.

The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, have a high attention to detail and a passion for numbers and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check client data against evidence and identify any gaps
  • Analyse client data to ensure it has been correctly processed
  • Generate sustainability reports (PowerPoint) to present carbon and social value data
  • Support the team in maintenance and improvement of existing data analysis tools and reports

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience calculating carbon footprints in a similar role
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of generating reports and proficient in formatting
  • Highly numerate and have excellent attention to detail
  • Have a passion for data, analytics and sustainability
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills and can deliver quality work to agreed deadlines, maintaining clear focus under pressure is a must
  • Strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor
  • Ability to use initiative and work with the minimum of supervision

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Auditing qualifications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce / Sofi Sustainability (on Salesforce)
  • Previous experience within the sustainability industry is desirable (but not essential)
  • Experience of calculating corporate carbon footprints
  • Consulting and client management experience
  • Knowledge of or experience in social value measurement

This is a full-time position, working in central London and remotely from home.

Salary: £22,000pa

Description:  

We are looking for an experienced administrator to assist our growing team.  This role will be busy and varied, involving administrative tasks and assisting our accounts department with accounting matters.

The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, have a high attention to detail and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the accounts team with various tasks including postings, bank reconciliations, invoicing and credit control
  • Managing The Planet Mark Community Engagement Programme. Including organising school workshops by liaising with schools and stakeholders
  • Ensuring systems and records are accurate and updated
  • Generating reports and preparing documents for management
  • Liaising with customers and staff to ensure the timely delivery of our work
  • Booking meetings and travel for the team
  • Supporting the team in general administrative matters

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • At least a year’s experience in a similar administrative role
  • Accounting knowledge and experience is vital (preferably AAT qualified or with a bookkeeping qualification)
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of generating reports and proficient in formatting
  • Highly numerate and have excellent attention to detail
  • Have a passion for sustainability
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills and can deliver quality work to agreed deadlines, maintaining clear focus under pressure is a must

This is a full-time position, however four days per week may be considered.  You will be working in central London and remotely from home.

Salary: £22,000pa FTE
