Formed in 1989, Childbase Partnership are an Employee Owned early years childcare provider that cater for children aged 6 months to 5 years of age. The Head Office is based in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire and operates 42 sites across mainly central England. At present, Childbase take part in both Food for Life Serve Here and Eco-Schools programmes which enhance both education in the environment and environmental issues as well as using produce that comes from sustainable sources. This is Childbase’s first year of business carbon footprint reporting. It calculated the emissions from operations at its Head office and 41 nurseries for the year ending October 2018 and set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually.
