A & E Fire and Security, a Royal Warrant Holder, has been providing fire and security protection services throughout the Midlands, London, South West and South Wales since 1965.

This is A & E’s second year of business carbon footprint reporting and first year of social value measurement. A&E first calculated the emissions of its Cheltenham office operations for the year ending December 2017 and set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually. This year’s footprint includes emissions from natural gas, purchased electricity, fuel used by the fleet, water, waste, and printing paper for its Cheltenham site.

The total carbon footprint in year ending 31 December 2018  was 220.6 tCO2e a increase of 1.7% compared to YE2017. The relative carbon footprint was 3.4 tCO2e per employee, a decrease of 7.8% compared to YE2017.
