More than 120 industry experts to feature in 33 sessions across two days for edie Live at the NEC Birmingham on May n 17-18.
Amanda Barnes, chief executive of edie Live organiser Faversham House, said: “edie Live will cater for anyone whose organisation has to deal with the strategic as well as the practical aspects of sustainable business and resource efficiency – be it energy management, water, waste, corporate and social responsibility, or low-carbon innovation.
“The show will cover three imperatives of the industry: bottom line, compliance and reputation. It’s about driving organisations or businesses to look for higher profits in a sustainable manner, complying with legislative demands and ensuring that their reputation is protected.”
The edie Live 2016 exhibition and conference will feature three practical, CPD-accredited seminar theatres based on the key industry themes of energy efficiency, onsite solutions and resource efficiency. Planet First and Land Securities will be in the Onsite Solutions Theatre discussing onsite retrofitting and why the building is the key to driving energy efficiency on May 18th, while Planet Mark-certified Dunlop Systems and Components will be presenting a case study of its factory fit-out project to halve water wastage in the Resource Efficiency Theatre on Day 2.
Meanwhile, 10 potentially ground-breaking and commercially viable green innovations – all aimed at tackling sustainability head on – are bidding for the chance to win a £6,000 support package through the Innovation Zone. The Innovation Zone winner will be announced at the end of the first day (17 May).
