SMEs Join us online for Guardian Q&A

On Wednesday 11th June, Planet First joined eight other industry experts for the Guardian’s online Small Business Network Q&A session. The discussion surrounded the question of how SMEs could reduce, reuse and recycle in the workplace.

Rowan Wallis has worked for the Sustainable Business Partnership for five years and is an associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment

Steve Malkin is CEO of Planet First, a sustainability consultancy. He provides strategic and practical advice on sustainability programmes in corporations and SMEs

Lucy Frankel is communications director at manufacturer Vegware, which makes compostable foodservice packaging and is a 2013 Queen’s Award winner. She is also project manager for FoodWasteNetwork.org.uk

Stephen Boyle is a programme area manager for Resource Efficient Scotland

Louise Bateman is editor of Greenwise, a news information service for businesses who want to learn more about moving to a low carbon economy

Stephen Didsbury is head of waste and recycling services at theLondon Borough of Bexley, the highest recycling borough in London. He has overseen the roll out of an extensive service for SMEs

Adam Frost is a senior lecturer at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), specialising in entrepreneurialism andsmall business management. Before he joined (LJMU), he worked in the third sector enabling businesses to be more environmentally and socially responsible
